Financial Management

Homebuyer Education

Considering purchasing a home? This online course with a follow-up by phone provides first-time homebuyers with information needed to purchase and maintain their homes. It meets the THDA loan requirement. Get the class sooner – not later. The pre-purchase course makes you aware of things to know during the purchase process; the post-purchase course provides information to help participants be successful homeowners. Classes are online at https://thda.ehomeamerica.org/.

Skill Up Tennessee

Jobs are available but employers struggle to find skilled workers. People want to work but may not be aware of the skills they need. The goal of this program is to help individuals reach their employment potential and become self-sufficient. A case management component can allow funding for testing fees, tuition, uniforms, gas cards, etc. If a person receives SNAP benefits but not TANF- they are eligible for Skill Up TN! Visit this site to learn more or sign up.
